SSFC Women confirm 2026/27 backroom team

South Shields FC Women are pleased to confirm the backroom team ahead of the 2026/27 season.

Alex Miller has taken up a new role to become the Women’s Team Operations Manager, which involves operational oversight of First Team and Reserve Team affairs.

Rhiannon Gray has joined the Mariners as the new First Team Head Coach, taking over from Miller’s previous position, and Cameron Cowey remains in his role as First Team Assistant Coach.

Ellie Dickson-Flandreau has stepped up as Reserve Team Head Coach, following Ryan Young’s departure earlier in the summer, while she will be supported by Robert Walker who joins as Reserve Team Assistant Coach.

Michael Gowans continues to be the club’s General Manager.

Everybody at the club is looking forward to the start of the season, which begins for both the First Team and the Reserve Team this Sunday.
