Shields host Newcastle United Under-21s in Pre-Season

The Mariners will host Newcastle United's Under-21 side in their final pre-season fixture before the commencing of the Vanarama National League North season.

Elliott Dickman will welcome his former Young Magpies to the 1st Cloud Arena on Sunday, August 4th at 13:00.

It will be the final fixture for Shields before the Vanarama National League North campaign kicks off on August 10th.

Newcastle finished 22nd in the Premier League 2 in 2023-24 under the management of Ben Dawson.

The Young Magpies will be without a handful of players after many youth products were released in the summer – including former Mariner Dylan Stephenson who is without a club.
