Adam Shaw departs role at SSFC

South Shields Football Club announces the departure of Academy Director, Adam Shaw.

Adam played an important role in developing the academy during his time with the club, and the organisation appreciates his dedication to our youth development programs.

During his time with the club, we have seen an expansion of academy personnel, and Adam helped to oversee the establishment of our dedicated academy training facilities at Downhill.

Alongside other senior staff, Adam maintained high standards of youth player development. During his time with the club, numerous young players successfully progressed to train and debut with the first team. Additionally, academy players secured professional contracts or advanced to training opportunities with category 1 academies.

Adam also contributed to the introduction of the club’s international academy system, which has helped enhance our youth programs and broaden our overall reach.

The club extends its sincere thanks to Adam for his hard work and wishes him the very best in his future endeavours.
