Chibueze joins on loan

A regular in the Potters’ academy, Chinonso played 20 games in the Premier League 2 last season, scoring 4 goals and registering 1 assist. Chi’s most recent games came against fellow National League North side, Chester FC, coming away with a 1-0 victory, and Chibueze being the man to net the winner in the 77th minute.

A player on the fringe of first-team football with The Potters, Chibueze has featured on the bench twice for Stoke City in the Championship, once in 2024 against Hull, and most recently in March 2026 against Ipswich.

Chi added,

“I’m delighted to sign for the club, as soon as I heard about the interest, I was buzzing to sign. The style of play suits me down to a tee, and I watched a lot of last season, so I know how passionate the fanbase is. I’m a fast, energetic winger who likes to get on the ball and score goals, and I can’t wait to show the fans what I can do.”

Chi will wear the number 22.
